24kt gold-layered Proof Statehood Quarters from the 10 most legendary Gold Rush states.
The Gold Rush State Quarter Proof Collection includes Proof Statehood Quarters for the 10 states where the greatest and most important Gold Rushes took place, from the first Gold Rushes in North Carolina and Georgia in the early 1800s...to the legendary California Gold Rush…the Klondike Gold Rush in Alaska in the late 1800s…and many more.
The rarely seen coins were struck to the highest quality possible at the U.S. Mint. Unlike regular coins that are struck once, each proof quality coin was double-struck to bring out the high-relief images — but they were made in limited quantities, and they were never released to the general public. As the perfect finishing touch, each pristine proof quality coin is richly layered in 24kt pure gold, giving it the appearance of newly discovered gold nuggets.
Also included at no additional charge is a spectacular wooden display case. Custom-made specifically for this collection, it features a vintage map of Gold Rush territory on the outside, a locking lid and spaces for all 10 gold-layered coins in the collection. The underside of the lid reveals a fascinating history of America’s Gold Rushes and lists the most famous Gold Rushes and intriguing facts about them.
Coins will be shipped at the rate of two every other month, but you may pay for only one coin per month. The free display will be sent separately at about the same time as the third coin shipment.
