Every Barber, Mercury and Roosevelt dime struck in the 20th century!
These exceptional “All-American” coins are some of the most celebrated and iconic of the 20th century. Spanning three unique and striking designs from 1901 through 2000, Barber, Mercury and Roosevelt dimes from the 20th century, most made in 90% pure silver, are rapidly disappearing and becoming harder to find with each passing year.
But you are now invited to own The Complete 20th Century Dime Treasury, a comprehensive collection of every year’s dime design minted in the 20th century. Available exclusively from the Danbury Mint and handsomely presented in a free custom wooden display chest, it features more than 60 coins struck in 90% silver, many over 100 years old!
The classic Barber dime was the country’s ten-cent piece at the start of the 20th century. It jingled in the pockets of Americans when man first flew in an airplane and when Ford introduced the Model T automobile. In 1916, the Barber dime was replaced by the iconic Mercury dime, renowned for its stunning beauty. The Mercury dime was in use during World War I, the Roaring Twenties, and through our triumph in World War II. To honor one of America’s most beloved presidents, the U.S. Mint began the Roosevelt dime series in 1946. Still used today, this is the longest-running unchanged coin design in U.S. history! Together, these three coveted designs span 100 years, bringing the history and culture of the entire 20th century to life like never before.
Many of these silver dimes were made in shockingly small editions while vast numbers of silver coins have been melted for their precious silver content. But every year’s dime minted from 1901 until 2000 is included in this collection, regardless of scarcity — even the exceptionally low-mintage 1915, 1930 and 1931 coins that are virtually impossible to find and including those from 1901 to 1964 in stunning 90% silver!
Each coin minted from 1901 to 1964 is presented in circulated condition with most major design details visible; coins minted after 1964 are offered in brilliant uncirculated condition. Every dime in the collection arrives in a crystal-clear capsule, making it safe to examine both sides without fear of damage from dust, dirt or fingerprints. You will also receive a deluxe wooden display chest at no additional cost at about the same time as your second coin shipment. The perfect finishing touch to your collection, the chest makes it easy to store, showcase and protect your collection for generations to come.
